Description

“Adventure is a path. Real adventure – self-determined, self-motivated, often risky – forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world. The world the way it is, not the way you imagine it. Your body will collide with the earth and you will bear witness. In this way you will be compelled to grapple with the limitless kindness and bottomless cruelty of humankind – and perhaps realize that you yourself are capable of both. This will change you. Nothing will ever again be black-and-white.” –Mark Jenkins

Day 80 – 23rd July – Thursday, Back in Southern France

Retro Airstream park near Mirepoix (http://www.airstreameurope.com/). What a find this place is. Only classic vehicles over 25 years old are allowed in – everything here is retro, chilled and very cool. It’s in the middle of nowhere on the Midi Pyrenees, run by an English guy, Perry, and his family of entertainers. The air is clear, the people are fantastic and atmosphere is perfect. We are staying two nights for sure.
